1) I was too busy to write which meant that the resulting column was weak and thus unprintable.
2) Because what an I beam essentially does is separates the tension and compression forces resulting from bending into the top and bottom flanges of the beam with the web between holding them apart. The further apart, the smaller these forces will be for any given amount of bending. As the force per unit area of steel (stress) is directly proportional to area, the more steel at the tension and compression edges the better - meaning that an I is the most efficient shape. L and an l beams do exist but are less efficient and less stable, as bending also introduces a tendency for the compression edge to buckle sideways.
3) Georgie Pie was indeed awesome. It was bought by Burger King or someone then closed down. Just like Pizza Hutt did to Eagle Boys. The cunts. This is why capitalism is bad.

Er....I thought Georgie Pie went into receivership, and then outlets were sold individually by receivers? The McDonalds in Glen Innes and Greenlane are both former Georgie Pie outlets.
