| Hello, my name is Allen. I am putting this on Ebay in order to raise funds for college. All of the proceeds of this auction will go directly to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to help pay for my schooling. I work four jobs at the moment. Selling Cutco cutlery, working as a fire alarm technician for Honeywell, delivering pizza and my parents own a little Chinese restaurant, so I help them out there. I served ice cream at Coldstone Creamery at The Mall of America for a brief period during this summer. All of these jobs are being used to help pay for college. A little bit about my dreams and parents. My parents came over from China about 35 years ago to America. And in this time span, they have been able to raise three children, one of them being moi. I have always tried to help out my parents whether it is through chores, translating for them or working for them. They have taught me to work incredibly hard in order to accomplish my goals. I graduated with Honors from Eastview High School and as an Advanced Placement Scholar. And through my hard work was able to accumulate 47 credits towards college while still in high school. I also was accepted into the college of my dreams, which was the Institute of Technology at the University of MN-TC. The only obstacle standing in my way that would prevent me from being the best I can be and making my parents proud is the cost of college. Anyone that has gone through an institute of higher learning knows that it can be expensive. But the ideas, knowledge and experiences gained through university are priceless. A little bit about myself. I have always been a shy kid. But as I mature and go to the next level (college), I find that it is of utmost importance for one to experience all life has to offer. As a child, I was never one to experience that first kiss. So it is time for the hatchling to leave the nest and learn about the world. This kiss will not only be my first kiss, but a kiss of gratitude for the thought that you believe in me and wish for me to accomplish my parent’s and my dream. XOXO Allen C.
