Anyone notice theres like a formula for teams?

* Token Black couple
* Token Gay couple
* Token Father Daugher/Mother Son
* Token Bestfriends Male and Female
* Token Brothers or Sisters
* Token older couple that run blindly through the whole race yet somehow manage to beat a few teams
* Token odd couple with some weird quirk (this season its the Hill Billies with their crazy accents, sadly they got eliminated in the first episode)
I think we have the makings of a parody Amazing Race NZ thread :D

I totally agree, sure lots of people love reality tv but as someone who has been on a reality show just over one year ago I can say it is not worth it.
Well it is in terms of being on tv and all that but it can fuck your life up in other areas as it did for me.
Also reality tv does not require the skill of writing a script.

the olds came last but wernt eliminated and in addition to losing all their money and gaining none for the next leg they also lost all their stuff except their passports and what they were wearing.
And next week it looks like the Brothers are in a car accident :(

Yeah I was proud of the old couple too, when she fell and broke her head I was like SHIT!
So glad theyre still in it, but not happy the brothers get more bad luck next week.
I was so sure Rob and Amber and fucked up and would come last for going for that Fast Forward.

Tonights Ep was the best Ep of Amazing Race I have ever seen I shit you not.
RIght at the end the Brothers flipped their car, injuring their cameraman, they felt UBER bad as you would and teams stopped as they passed to make sure they were ok, Rob and Amber didnt even stop
Then at the last task Ray and Deanna had a fight and were taking ages to do the task, the Brothers got their replacement car and managed to catch up to them in the task. Then at the pitstop they arrived neck and neck, the brothers beat them in the footrace! I was literally screaming at the TV thats how crazy it was.
Ray and Deanna got eliminated.
