I haven't watched his show but I quite like John Campbell and his approach. I read an article on the herald website that he is actually quite shy and reserved in real life. That he takes on a role when he is interviewing and doing news stories.

If Shortland Street is not on tomorrow night (though technically tonight) then I will be watching Campbell Live.

I can't stand Susan Wood and somehow she is generating the most viewers. I think this is because it is on tv1 and traditionally tv1 has been the main channel since it begun in 1960 on june the first.

Paul Holmes is doing the worst out of the lot, he is only getting about 65,000 viewers, that is pitiful. I think he is reaching the end of his career which is sad because he is an inspiration to me.

Campbell Live has fared in the middle. Though they are different people I would have to say that John Campbell is the next Paul Holmes in the sense that he is in his 40s (?) and is quite an interesitng presenter to follow. He also seems to have his "finger on the pulse". I hate using cliches but that one popped right out.

Seen him a few times in Albert Park, he seems to hang out there sometimes for lunch.
I guess he did appear shy.

Well Shortland Street is on tonight but I am going to tape it. I want to watch campbell live and see what all the fuss is about.
