Title: Easy Papers
Description: let other forum goons know
the oob - October 16, 2005 04:24 AM (GMT)
I love how this forum completely reinforces the 'girls don't like maths' stereotype.
Hannoir - October 16, 2005 04:29 AM (GMT)
Um, I'm doing two economics papers so therefore deal with maths.
I just refuse to take a science paper and besides, it won't be allowed by my home university.
the oob - October 16, 2005 04:34 AM (GMT)
Yeah I'm just making a general observation about the forum, and your comment brought it to mind.
One day I'll find a woman who likes maths, and I'll make her my wife.

I'm in IT, that could be tricky.
Mr Lanky Bobs - October 18, 2005 12:39 AM (GMT)
eco and stats...doesnt get any easier than them...
aqua - October 18, 2005 04:32 AM (GMT)
Stats10X is damn easy. If you are good at essays then comhealth 102 is also really really easy... Socol100 is an essay (really easy topic), a test and an exam with 100 multichoice questions.. really easy.... i dont think i even opened the textbook.. just read over the lecture notes..
Steveo - October 18, 2005 04:48 AM (GMT)
stats10x is a c*nt of a paper, its a 100% multichoice exam which is shitty. The assignments are not bad but the midsemester test was a shocker
El Matador - October 18, 2005 05:05 AM (GMT)
Yea, and the lecturer for the first half of the sem had serious issues with reality.

Well actually it does : PopMus102
I've done both Eco and Stats and PopMus is way easier.
Two one hour classes per week; Two 20% assignments; Our 20% test took 10 minutes; and our 40% test is during our 1 hour classtime.

Spanish language isn't really much of a bum paper, but is 104 a culture paper? I was idiotic enough tos kip stage one in it.
This sounds so awesome about pop music though! What does the paper actually entail?
Hannoir - October 19, 2005 08:26 AM (GMT)

It's on the Popular Music Industry. If you go to all the lectures it's an easy paper. There are only two 1 hour lectures a week. We got to watch quite a few videos in class. Test 1 (20%) was easy multi choice + short answer and took 15 minutes to do; Assignment 1 (20%) was a Press Kit on a real or imaginery band - I did mine on an imaginary Jem and the Holograms tribute band (Trix and the Misbehavers) and got 20/20; Assignment 2 (20%) was a 1200 word essay; Test 2 (40%) was quite easy paragraphs + short answer and took 35 minutes to do.
This is the course description from nDeva:
POPMUS 102

Practical areas covered include: music promotion, publishing and copyright, management, organisation of functions and festivals, legal issues and manufacture.

I have the second and third. They were $20 at Real Groovy until someone figured out they sold well and then jacked the price back up to $40

I did spanish 104 last semester, its not that hard, but it is pretty easy to slack of and not go to class and you really need to study if you want to remember all the verbs etc, if you go to most of the classes and study a bit after each lesson you will get in the A's, i only got a B because i was a slackass :P My columbian mate did a stage 2 (or3?) Spanish lit paper and only got a C, and to think he was wanting an easy A+ lol. He wanted to do Spanish104 but they had a psych and told him he couldnt :P
Hannoir - October 30, 2005 11:50 PM (GMT)

CS101 for easy A+, given the help you have.
Physics 107 I can't help with.
PHIL (stage I logic) ?
French I can try and help with, but can't make any promises.
