Out of 40,000 students at our University only 150 have entered in the U of A Uni Games team, while AUT are bragging they have over 500 entered.

"Rifles" isn't one of the sports.. Maybe you're refering to Bore Shooting?
I asked someone why they got rid of a normal sport like Aerobics and they said it was former Craccum editor Dr John's fault. Some think the real reason is because Auckland always won Aerobics.
When I was at Uni Games last year I told them they should introduce Triathlon to the Games because New Zealanders are world champions at Triathlon but apparently organising road closures for the cycle part was too hard so they're having a stunted Triathlon and calling it an Aquathon.
The most random 'Sport' at Uni Games is Debating which most people would debate isn't actually a sport

I just heard today they canceled the "Inline Hockey" portion of the games.
Fucking bung.
We would have owned at that. (even if Inline is gay)

That's interesting. How would it have been Dr John's fault?
I was thinking it was because Aerobics was being dominated in the dance categories hence them almost having Hip Hop as a sport this year [which fits in with the Auckland always winning idea, blah].
