Title: WTF?!
Description: The most disgusting/disturbing movies

Fez - February 2, 2005 10:42 PM (GMT)
Seen this type of thread on a number of boards, thought Id start one up here.

Whats the most disgusting/disturbing movie you have ever seen?

For me.

Disgusting: cant think of anyway, I tend to go out of my way to avoid gory movies not cause Im skittish, they just dont appeal to me.

Disturbing: first one that came to mind was "The Secretary" but I guess thats pretty tame in the area of disturbing. Doom generation was pretty disturbing.
I stumbled across on another boards similar thread tho and Im glad I havnt seen it.

For both Disgusting and Disturbing it would have to be "The Piano Teacher".

Please never ever see this movie...

Watch Irreverisble. Other than the controversial rape scene, there's this violent brawl in a bar. Most. Disturbing. Scene. Ever. I had to look away :(

Three Extreme : Dumplings

its about a middle aged woman eating dumplings made from aborted foetus. quite graphic

Freddy Got Fingered

Well i dont know whether u should laugh or be disgusted about this, the line gets rather blurry. e.g. whirling a newborn by the umbilical cord above his head...

Happiness. Offering to assist your 10 yo son in masturbation? drugging your sons best friend and raping him? Stalkers, fantasies of mass murder in a park and sticking postcards to a wall with cum.
A great film, but PLEASE don't watch it.

I felt the exact same way.

I picked it to watch one night with some friends some years back. Half an hour through everyone was rolling their eyes at me. There is some shit that's too stupid, it's not funny and you gotta just shake your head like when Tom Green wanked that elephant till he shot his load at some poor guy.

I'm not easily disturbed so I find it hard to name a film however I cannot watch rape scenes no matter how short or covered up they are.

I have never watched a scene of a film that I couldn't laugh at.

Maybe that's just me, or maybe the difference between artifice and reality should be more defined, but if somone whirls a little kid around their head by its umbilical cord, I can't help but shit my pants laughing.

I reckon "Passion Of The Christ" was let down by the extreme lengthy violence. That shit just dragged on and on and was disturbing to watch. The shock value sorta lost momentum after half an hour.

Bad Boy Bubby : is a classic in bad taste
The Cook, The Thief, The Wife and her Lover : Peter Greenaway at his worst

I really enjoyed The Secretary :)

Erazorhead by David Lynch - seriously disturbing mind-fuck

'Das Experiment' is fairly disturbing, it's based on (but greatly exaggerates) the Stanford Prison Experiment.

Bad Boy Bubby was just plain excellent. I don't know why people obsess about the sex parts.

The most disturbing movie I've seen is Happiness. I had to take a shower afterwards. I'm fairly certain I could not watch it again.

And Secretary is also just plain great. It is almost one of my favourite movies. Not remotely disturbing. What's the opposite of disturbing? It was that.

I dont know the image of James Spader beating off is kinda disturbing to me.

Thankfully I havnt seen it, nor do I intend to. I loved that south park episode that made fun of it.

I watched this on Christmas day, the time of usual joy and ... dare I say it ... happiness. This film disturbed me in many ways. It was good in many aspects, but. Yes. *is haunted*

P.S. Secretary was cool.

Ditto - to all these although I rather I enjoyed (perhaps morbidly intrigued or horridly fascinated would be better phrases) The Cook, The Thief... - but would never recommend eating directly before seeing it. The scene where they are in the truck of rotting meat makes my stomach roll.....
