Title: Recommended Cds
Description: ITT we recommend CDs to other people

Right, top of my list of music for you people to listen to is the new Queens of the Stone Age album, Lullabies to Paralyze. If you're into their style of music, this CD is basically all the best bits of Songs for the Deaf.
Also, I've been hearing some good things about the new album Coral Fang, from the Distillers, but haven't had a chance to listen to it. Has anyone heard it? Or can *recommend* it?

yes, the distillers album is excellent. The guitar work is something the band should be proud of. Vocals are by the female of the group and they sound very much like Hole. Excellent group.

Origin of Symmetry by Muse is amazing. Unless you don't like that type of music.

Yes their new one is cool, but I'd say it's got more to do with Rated R and they're debut than songs for the deaf, that's just what I get from the feel of it. Did you read the review for it in this week's craccum? I think Simon summed it up pretty well

Weta - Geographica
^one of the most under-rated bands/albums ever, pity it was their only album

Mindless Self Indulgence - Frankenstein Girls will seem strangely sexy.
4 NYC faggots get together and make Industrial Post-Punk Jungle Drum 'N Bass Hip-Hop Synth Funk Alternative Metal.
It's as confusing as it sounds, but fuck it's good. 12 aborted foetuses out of 5.

Also... Dire Straits. If you haven't heard of them, you should hear them. |
I preferred Absolution. And they put on such a wicked show last year

They certainly did. Awesome show that was.

I know. I met him at a party once. He gave me acid and touched my penis.
Simon is way cool

I think origin of symmetry is still muse's best album. Absolution lack the grand bold style of origin of symmetry, well it didnt lack, just didnt have as much.
_Ed_ - April 14, 2005 03:32 AM (GMT)
Agree. And Absolution has Time Is Running Out, which I hate (well not really hate, just think there are heaps of better songs by them but it's still the most popular), while OOS has 3 of my favourites Citizen Erased, Space Dementia and Plug In Baby.
Steveo - April 14, 2005 03:52 AM (GMT)
My favourite Muse song is Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist
