Title: 20/20 last night

What a weird spectacle it was. Cairns dissapointed but still he had a good send off.

I can't believe they actually had a "bowl off" to decide an International cricket game.

That's Cairns all the way isn't it? Usually disappointing, but inexplicably revered.

And who won the bowl off, I couldn't be bothered watching it. :lolcricket:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The best thing about the bowl off is that the supposedly world-class bowlers missed the stumps about 12 times before anyone hit.

Goddamm... With that kind of accuracy they truly deserve their status as pro's bringing down a wage.

What a stupid thing to do. Why can't they just have a tied game? Honestly, all these changes the ICC are making to cricket are fucking stupid.

However, the West Indies side did show that you could make 20/20 into a bowler's game if you're fullish and accurate.

I like how Flemiing described the Black Caps' batting as 'pretty dumb'.

If they need someone to hit the stumps in a bowl off, perhaps they could use a 12 year old schoolboy as the super sub, as they are obviously incapable of doing it.

i said that too, at high school cricket i could hit the stumps 90% of the time. they are profesional and should have better accuracy than that, straight up bowl, but no. just shows that bowling is mostly ball as hard as you can and hopefully it might nick or bounce nicely

Boy Wonder - February 17, 2006 09:49 AM (GMT)
Bondy and Styris both hit 100% of the time. However I agree everyone before them were pretty average. :retarded:
