Okay, so it's anything but confirmed, but apparently there are negotiations in progress to put Comedy Central's Daily Show on free TV in New Zealand.

So who else is excited? :dance:

That is good news, although I'll probably still continue to download it, depending on the delay between the states and us getting it. Hopefully they'll put on The Colbert Report as well (its sister show) which is slightly better IMO.

It helps to have some understanding of american politics and current events to understand the shows though, I get a lot of this through reading fark.
