Title: Jesus I may be a yuppie...
templar34 - January 20, 2006 01:09 PM (GMT)
Alright guys, list your toys (handheld stuffs):
i) Nokia 3*** - the cheap one that everyone has, and it's falling apart on me.
ii) Motorola E770v - brand spanking new video-capable phone. Plays music, takes decent photos.
iii) 1st generation iPod mini - 4.0Gb, silver.
iv) Palm m505 - inherited palm pilot that I got from my dad.
I need more pockets, there's no way I can keep all this in my jeans :(
How bad are you?
Hannoir - January 20, 2006 10:13 PM (GMT)

Dr_Steve - January 20, 2006 10:47 PM (GMT)
O Shap!
I have:
SonyErricson something (you know the first Vodafone Live! one that they had)
Creative mp3 5GB with radio
my camera
aviators
I sometimes have a palmtop, but those things are pretty useless.
Adolf Chiang - January 21, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
I just have my cellphone (Motorola V550) and wallet. I wish sidearms are legal...
Shap?

There is something so reassuring about having a big fucking gun tucked into your trousers. Mine is 14 inches.
templar34 - January 21, 2006 03:26 AM (GMT)
Hauser - January 21, 2006 03:28 AM (GMT)
I have a real fetish for palmtop computers, and the fact that phones are expanding satisfies my desire for trying to get one.
*I have two PSION handheld computers from my dad, though I don't use either anymore (I used to use a touchscreen one of them which had internet access if you plugged it into a wall or via infrared at high school back in the day when I couldn't be bothered taking notes on paper).
*A shitty 'LKO' Mp3/video player with a monster screen that I bought for 150 NZ in Singapore (Problem is: when I charge it, I need to plug the thing in every five minutes again or else it stops charging. If someone can come up with some electronic device or way of fixing this potentially, I would buy you a 12 pack of beer, because it really fucks me off)
*Aviators
*Sweatbands

Just put the safety back on when it's tucked in your pants (so you don't shoot your dick off accidentally while unholstering). Alternatively, you could tuck in into the back of your trousers for better concealment.
Dr_Steve - January 21, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
I agree, shooting your dick off in your pants makes a mess. I don't know what you'd be 'unholstering' for though.
Hannoir - January 21, 2006 05:57 AM (GMT)
templar, you just didnt do it for him did you?
templar34 - January 21, 2006 12:45 PM (GMT)

That's right, Doctor. I also have a Series 3, which is pretty primitive (but good for programming practise, as it had an interesting programming language built in called OPL that was a lot of fun).
The Series Five had the problem of the plastic-rubber-synthetic fabric cover sort of rotting off in flakes, which stopped me from using it.
Dr_Steve - January 21, 2006 01:18 PM (GMT)
mine is still good, apart from the corners :D the keyboard was awesome

Hey, that's cool, what guitars do you have? I didn't realise you played too.
Archie McRiff - January 31, 2006 08:33 AM (GMT)
I didn't either. Dr, you should maybe consider "just being friends" with your piano. Oh yeah also I have a keyboard. I didn't include it before cause I didn't think of it cause I haven't played it for ages, but now that I can record stuff I am using it and recording things to play guitar over. Ace.
On another note, I love my guitar, and playing guitar, and actually guitars in general, I mean if I got another guitar I would feel the same way about it, in a way I have never felt about anything else. Like, I can't imagine myself ever not playing it.
Now the trick is to find a girl who I have similar feelings for. And hope she doesn't ask me to choose between her and the guitar, cause she won't win.
Although actually, I did once consider telling a girl that for her I would give up playing for a month. But I decided not to, I didn't really need to and it would have been a somewhat pointless gesture.
Shit, sorry, I didn't mean to make a post this long.
Steveo - January 31, 2006 08:41 AM (GMT)
I love my record player :D
