Today i was going to go and pick up my new car... i have been excited, its a good thing
but for all good things that happen to us there is a downer out there waiting to happen.

I just found out via email that a person that i was so very fond of died last saturday morning at the age of 40 due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The official line is that it was an accident, in my heart i feel it wasnt

I remember the day i met Geoff, I had arrived in Canada as some foreign Kiwi lass, he didnt know me from a bar of soap but he opened his home and his heart to me and he won mine too... he became a special friend.

Geoff wasnt perfect. he adored his children but his marriage didnt last. he suffered depression and was an alcoholic.. which is why i wonder if it wasnt an accident.
whatever the reason it is such a terrible waste and I only hope his children know how much he loved them and how much everyone else loved their dad.

I don't think what happened is Karma though, Karma happens to bad people and you are not a bad person and you certainly do not deserve to lose a close friend. If you do something bad it comes back to you threefold, likewise, if you do something good, threefold. So I know that there must be at least a hundred good things coming your way, God knows you've done so many good things for others, and i'm sure Geoff will be up there in the night sky directing all that good Karma your way.

That's the way I see it, they're stars in the night sky watching over you, that's why i've got one tattooed on my shoulder, brings it just a little closer :)

Sorry dude. Life can indeed be unfair at times. But things get better eh - I know that even though I'm feeling shitty today.

Thank you all for the kind words. I guess i was stunned to hear someone i knew had died so young and that there was such a delay in me being advised.

Made me think of all the people i know who i communicate with predominently through the internet and that should i die, no-one would know to contact them and advise them.
