Infosys papers are surprisingly useful in the real world. I was doing them at uni and thinking 'when the fuck am I going to use an ERD diagram'? But now I make something resembling an ERD diagram whenever I program something using tables.
Plus I learnt SQL in infosys, yay.
YMMV. You probably won't do any real programming, but you may still find yourself making some kind of database in the working world.
