Title: Large Scale Jigsaw Puzzles
Adolf Chiang - January 12, 2006 02:33 AM (GMT)
Does anyone know where I can purchase jigsaw puzzles that are 2000 or more pieces? All I see in the shops are 1000 and maybe the occassional 1500 piece ones. I like jigsaw puzzles because I like landscape photography and the training of patience for completing it.

Take a photo and build a mandala of it from coloured rice.

Well, I am unable to shop online, nor would that postage and handling, plus the conversion to Pound be cheap.

I rather not offend the Hindus and Buddhists by making a mandala.

Because the hindus and Buddhists are looking over your shoulder.
I'm pretty sure that the Jews don't like you dressing up in an SS uniform and saluting yourself in the mirror, but you do that anyway.

I've never donned an SS uniform, or saluted myself in the mirror.

I'll save it for the next set of holidays. One time I managed to put a brand new 1000-piece together within two days.

I believe I said hard. Wasjigs are not hard.
Something like the one with the fish where all the fish looks the same would be a good one to try. Or a double sided one.

Adolf Chiang - January 12, 2006 11:17 AM (GMT)
Where can I see some examples of double sided ones on sale?
samf - January 12, 2006 12:02 PM (GMT)
In the words of Oob, Google is your friend. You may also want to leave the house and go to a toy/gift store and look around.

I've been looking around many places before and after Christmas. I can't be bothered with online shopping since it's mostly expensive and the after sales services are usually problematic.
Dr_Steve - January 12, 2006 11:30 PM (GMT)
what kind of after sales service could you possibly want for a jigsaw?

Adolph. You asked where you could see examples of double sided jigsaws. They then responded with try googling it and seeing examples. To which you responded I don't like buying stuff online. You make no sense sometimes. I'm sur Holden's have a website which will give you examples. Look around online and then go to the supermarket, whitcoulls , the warehouse or something to buy it.

That and I know for a fact they have a no-refunds-for-cunts policy.
