I'm probably doing a weekly column and will be doing a writeup on parachute for the first week also.

That reminds me, I need to read The Discourses at some point.

The Discourses are by far Machiavelli's most important work. In the Discourses he explains why a prince should gain power, whilst in the Prince he just explains how a prince might gain power and not loose it.
