Title: Suggest an Avatar for Adolf
Description: Only clean ones please...
Adolf Chiang - January 5, 2006 05:47 AM (GMT)
I'm getting bored of putting up so many avatars over the months, a thought came to me after remembering that Dr. Steve had suggested in September that I should change my avatar to
Lord Kitchener.
I'm now dedicating this thread to suggestions for future avatars. The rest of the space below will be a brief collection of past avatars used by Chiang:
Classic 'Chiang':
(Now available as an emoticon! :chiang: )
Heinzy:
(Heinz Guderian)
Some Random Jerry:
Random Chinese Officer 1:
(That guy looks like me!)
Random Chinese Officer 2:http://www.anyboard.net/gov/mil/anyboard/u...050411a_145.jpg(Some people claim that guy is like an older version of myself.)
Random Chinese Guy 3:
(Used on another forum.)
The 'Jolly' Nazi:

I vote you change it to Brian Peppers. :P
Steveo - January 5, 2006 08:34 AM (GMT)
How about some of that gay porn that you showed me at Oobs the other day after you came down stairs and said I smelt like sex?
Adolf Chiang - January 5, 2006 09:05 PM (GMT)
What do you guys think? I say it's time I should be permitted to remove the 'Jolly Nazi'.

Oob, Dr. Steve, Mr. T and Synopsis can testify that I did not possess anything of a pornographic nature.

I want it Hailey.
Yeliah - January 7, 2006 02:35 AM (GMT)
Go on, then. I just thought Hitler would be interested in that particular one because it's just so true to form. And I knew he'd agree with every single word of it.
the oob - January 7, 2006 02:41 AM (GMT)
[nitpicker]That avatar above has an error, it's meant to be "MOTHERLAND!!!" for Russia not "Mow the lawn".[/nitpicker]
Here's the flash it's based off.

Yeah.
Thats why i wanted the GIF. It went round my halls of residence millions of times in my first year and brings back memories.
Yeliah - January 7, 2006 02:55 AM (GMT)
Why the fuck does it say Mow the Lawn? Someone is retarded.

maniacnymph - January 7, 2006 11:06 AM (GMT)
Seeing as how that Mask is based on a real guy, Im really not that into that first one sorry Fezzy.
I think a big black box with the words "I Am Socially Inept' should suffice.
SheDevil - January 7, 2006 11:40 AM (GMT)
Nah, socially inept doesn't quite cover it. I;m sure there are a hundred more superlatives you could tack on to the end of that that would quite suffice in explaingin such an abomniation of a human being with a thought process that makes aborted fetuses look intelligent.
Adolf Chiang - January 8, 2006 04:35 AM (GMT)
Ask the Oob, Dr. Steve, Archie or Synopsis, I'm certainly not socially inept.

I regularly host LAN parties and graduated from computer science, I don't really have much of a frame of reference to work with.
Adolf Chiang - January 8, 2006 05:01 AM (GMT)
From that evening of watching films at Oob's house I certainly did not appear socially inept.
maniacnymph - January 8, 2006 10:37 AM (GMT)
uh........
i think there was a reason why me and Steveo went downstairs to talk?
Dr_Steve - January 8, 2006 11:15 AM (GMT)
okay I can't be arsed reading the rest of this thread, so

......No.
Well, usually, but not in that instance.
Well, maybe we were snubbing yous.
Actually Im not sure about Steveo.
But no flirting took place.
Steveo - January 9, 2006 02:56 AM (GMT)
hehehe as far as they all know ;)
Im kidding
SheDevil - January 9, 2006 03:21 AM (GMT)
What business is it of anyones what they were doing? No ones.
They could have been having deep political discussion on the state of Iraq or having deep and meaningful sex (jokes). Who knows! Only them, and that's the way it should be.

It's my business... if they were doing something unspeakable in my house, I would have had to clean up the stains.
And yeah guys, it was pretty lame to not enjoy
Kung Fu Hustle with the rest of us... your loss.

It could also be seen as their gain if they wanted to talk to each other but not distrub the movie, or if they didn't like the movie.

That's simply not possible. I cannot conceive of anyone not liking that movie.
Steveo - January 9, 2006 05:46 AM (GMT)
I didnt like it.
Amms is way more entertaining and fun than any movie anyway

Ams > Kung Fu Hustle.
But Kung Fu Hustle > *(martial arts movie)
Yeliah - January 10, 2006 04:24 AM (GMT)
Le sigh. I hate martial arts films. With such a specified genre, it's no wonder that some people weren't going to like it, yo.

It's pretty damn funny though, it should be accessible to almost anyone.
Yeliah - January 10, 2006 04:32 AM (GMT)
Yes, but not everyone has the same sense of humour. "Funny" for you, could be "FUCKING AWFUL OH PLEASE GOD, NO" for someone else.

I cannot think of a single person who has watched Kung Fu Hustle the whole way through and didn't find it funny, and besides, you could say the same thing about any comedy film.
Yeliah - January 10, 2006 04:40 AM (GMT)
Yes you could, Oobies. Yes you could. Hence why Steveo and Ams found sitting downstairs drinking/talking far more enjoyable than watching a martial arts "comedy" that they would have found no joy in watching by the sounds of it.

Seeing as you have not watched the movie, nor have they (or at least not much of it), this statement is completely groundless.
And this argument is stupid.
I can see why you wouldn't think it's funny though, I've watched other martial arts comedys in the past and haven't found them to be particularly funny, this one was the first.
Archie McRiff - January 10, 2006 05:18 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I wasn't that into that particular movie. Although I wasn't paying complete attention to it most of the time. I was sort of hanging out for some of the other movies on the list...
