I'm incredibly useful when it comes to scaring those door-to-door salespersons away. Here's an example:
Salesmen: Hello! How would you like your carpets cleaned for $40 or less, sir? Because we at Carpet Corp do things differently with our new product, the...
Adolf (in a very strong Asian accent): Go off! Me speak nein Engrish!

I think the proper reply would be merely, "Cunt off."

Insults only encourage resistance. By telling them that you don't speak English, they feel out off place when standing at your door.

Hurling abuse is far more satisfying though.

Bear in mind that the forum clock is an hour slow.... although that doesn't help matters. I had been playing anti-monopoly for a few hours you see
Yeliah - January 3, 2006 11:49 PM (GMT)
Is anti-monopoly the one where you steal money on the sly from the bank and set about making your hotelier-debut in the likes of Mayfair? Or is that just plain old Monopoly...
Anyway, I plan to flat in the centralised Auckland region. More specifically, Grey Lynn/Ponsonby/Kingsland.

Wow what a coincidence... perhaps it was the warehouse game of the year??
Although Im not a great fan of monopoly, because of childhood scars caused by the squabbling about who was cheating etc, I got given this for christmas ( i think it was someone taking the piss out of me and my anti-monopoly feelings)
Anyway we played it and the benefit of Anti-monoply over Monopoly was evident to my son who actually WON>
He played monopolist and being me, what choice did i have but to play competitor.
oh well lesson learned... play nice and you lose :shrugs:
Aaron_von_Cock - January 5, 2006 12:22 AM (GMT)
Ive had some pretty fun times playing this in recent weeks
Yeliah - January 5, 2006 05:15 AM (GMT)
