For those of you out there who don't already know world is a yearly film festival that screens at the Academy Cinema on Lorne Street, if you've never been there now's the time to check it out. It's located underneath the public libary.
World showcases a number of films from all corners of the globe, last year it was the New Zealand premier of Thirteen and played a number of fantastic movies.
