Title: Gamers?

System shock 2 is an awesome coop game. seriously fun :) soldat is fun as at least for a little while. a great way around any battlenet/types of protection is a programme called haitachi i think, it baisically tricks your PC into thinking its lanning overe the internet, so a lan game which doesnt require internet protection can be played over the net like TCPIP. me and maliekieth played x-wing alliance like this, it was fun as!

My computer can't handle civ4 when the world gets too busy. Gutted. I had almost finished building the internet when my comp crashed.

Hauser - December 20, 2005 07:06 AM (GMT)
Well, we have Al Gore to build the internet for us.

Civ 4 lagged pretty hardout for me too, which was bizarre because the game doesn't actually seem to have a level of complexity beyond that of Civ 1 and 2, apart from a lot of nice eye-candy graphics.

Luke + I just had a game of CS, I got nade killed by the bastard :(

Maliekieth - December 20, 2005 07:27 AM (GMT)
I am a ruthless cunt in that game, sometimes anyway.

Tony Montana - December 20, 2005 07:38 AM (GMT)
What do you guys call yourselves on CS? Do you play on recoil?

Steveo - December 20, 2005 07:50 AM (GMT)
Ive changed my name to Steveo, i play where ever

Big Poppa - December 20, 2005 07:55 AM (GMT)

Smaller maps sizes should do the trick. What map size were you using? I have a fairly good computer but found it got slow on the second to largest map size.

It's slower because it's 3d graphics whereas all the previous civs were 2d graphics.

I used to be voodoo_3 or generalissimo. I played for both Maus, FPS and the Backdoor Soldiers.

Maliekieth - December 20, 2005 09:52 AM (GMT)
My PC eats Civ4 for breakfast, woop.

I'm Maliekieth in most games I play, occasionally if I am fucking around I might have a silly alias on.

the oob - December 20, 2005 09:58 AM (GMT)
I'm the oob everywhere on the net. My old quake team fortress name was 'an escaped mental patient', which was great because of the in game messages.

an escaped mental patient has entered the game!
You were reamed by an escaped mental patient!

etc.

Lol. Now I am Augustus Caesar, but I change a bit.

Interesting thing I discovered: CS source takes up exactly 1337 MB of space on my computer.

Last night I found to my delight a sub 100 ping TFC server that actually had people on it.

JPAR - January 5, 2006 12:59 AM (GMT)
What server? I see NZTFC up occasionaly, usually only 1 or 2 people on it. I don't find ping that important for TFC though.

I play mostly on Inspire net scoutknives, names JP. Or else on the midcity dm server.

Really can't be fucked playing normal maps anymore.

the oob - January 5, 2006 01:30 AM (GMT)
GameArena TFC #1 and #2 (144.140.155.117:27015 and 144.140.155.117:27025 respectively), they don't seem to have any people atm though, and I haven't played for about a week.

JPAR - January 5, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
I played tfc pretty hardout for about a month last year, mostly on an american server which was 24hr dustbowl, mostly because I loved being an offensive spy, and teamshooting as a sniper, who doesn't love that?
