Okay guys. A firm in Auckland City Central wants Law students - 3rd or 4th year preferred - to help them prepare a legal submission against a District Council. Ideally, you'll have solid grades and experience in civil legislation.
It's at least 200 hours work over the summer - an immediate start, ending in February - so if you need a whack of cash over the break this might suit you.
PM or email me if you're interested, or know someone who is. They need someone ASAP.
Just out off curiosity, how many hours of compulsory work must the law students complete prior to graduation?
None.
They have to do a 6 month legal professionals course after they graduate though in order to be admitted to the bar.
Bump.
I need to find lawyers, guys. The job's flexitime, and can be done from home to fit in with other work or holiday plans.
Successful applicants will have demonstrated ability to eat broken glass and howl at the full moon. Equivalent skills in civil legislation, however, will suffice.
Please mention this to law students you know who may want career-related work. PM or email. Come on, everyone knows a law student. Except me. Help please!
