Hi guys, just wondering if any of your grades have been put on the cec yet?

Grades come out on ndeva under Academic :) Usually takes a while depending on when ur exam was and how fast ur lecturer is

None of mine are up yet, and I doubt they will be for weeks more.

They only put assignment and test marks on Cecil, not sure why they can't put exam marks on there.

Some faculties are too lazy to even put test marks on cecil, LIKE ENGINEERING.

Umm, really more interested in whether the marks are available yet than where to find them. I don't have exams/do papers myself, but am still curious as to whether any are available yet. But I guess not.

And I think laziness actually = incompetence in a lot of non-cecil using cases. It can be a bit confusing for lecturers to use, and often relies on the goodwill of office staff. ;)

Or the fact that the (Software) Engineering and CompSci departments despise CECIL and would prefer to use their own electronic learning software...

I think it's on that unofficial transcript and/or course grade history, though I'm not sure.

Click on Academic summary.
When the drop down menu appears select "Course/Grade History".
Type in the "Term" field "1055" for semester two

and then voila, your marks should hopefully appear, if your respective faculty are not being lazy fucks and have actually put them up by now.

First mark back, passed chemmat with a B. I am rather pleased since I didn't do nearly enough study.

Goddamned arts faculty cant ever get the results up in a timley fashion! I'm still waiting, none back yet. Maths etc is always the quickest, i think ive figured out why. In maths/compsci/business etc all they have to do is check an equation, if its right, tick, on to the next one. In arts they have to read through 15 pages of badly written drivel scrawled like a 5 year old, well thats my essays anyways, and around 100 of them at that! Still...........hurry the fuck up arts! Shit. I'm trearing my hair out here, wanting to know if im gonna graduate.

im dropping Film and Drama studies as my degree, so the marks i get for them i dont get a shit about. My BA will hopefully be: double Major in English + Anthropology or Psych

so hope i can take up Anthro next year :(

anthro is gay! i got a C+ bahaha they try mix science with arts and it fails misserably, i knew every scientific side of that course and only got a C+ the essay question was so art wank, even tho im good at art essays i.e philosophy.

It's gonna take some time adjusting to not being a student anymore. Like today I spent all day at uni when I really should have been celebrating at the beach. Unfortunately for me the Student Association needs a budget for next year so I spent all day talking to heads of department. The Media department were kind enough to offer me a beer so I guess we'll keep Craccum going for at least another year.
