I have settled on an 8.3/10 (When you are getting to the 93rd movie of the year at the movies it gets kind of hard to distinguish between them lol)

I too was disappointed at the lack of world cup footage. It needed more quidditch as well as the Veelas. the camp for all the people attending the world cup was supposed to appear non-magical as to not arouse suspision from the muggles but in the movie you can blatantly see magic and people flying broomsticks. There is no sign of Ludo Bagman who bets with the twins.

I also noticed that the Weasleys were supposed to be in the top box with the minister of magic and the Malfoys. this also means Barty Crouch's house elf wasn't there to steal Harry's wand (which casts the dark mark later on). it makes me wonder how he got harry's wand.

I also did not like the "new" cold Dumbledore. Dumbledore always came off in the books to me as a caring grandad kinda person but he wasn't like that in the movie. Fleur was not breath-takingly beautiful like I expected. she seemed like an average blonde. she never really said much, neither did Krum or Cedric. Moaning Myrtle came off as totally perverted and disgusting in this movie.

They over-sensationalised Hermione's reaction to Ron being a prat at the ball. They are making too bigger deal about their apparent crush on each other.

A lot of Barty Crouch juniors escape from Azkaban is not explained. like how he swapped with his mother and then started controlling his father, the house-elfs role in this as well as other things that play a big part in the plot.

They also did not mention Rita Skeeter being an unregistered animagi and Hermione catching out her sneaky ways of getting stories. you also dont hear of S.P.E.W. which is Hermione's society for the protection of elfish welfare (lol).

And I wanted to see more action in the maze (sphinxes and spiders etc).

Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie. I will be first in line to buy it when its on DVD. I can just sit and poke holes at it all day and say what could've been better. and yea, I know they can't fit it all into a movie but that won't stop me complaining. I wanna see what deleted scenes are on the DVD.

I thought Barty Crouch was quite well done. The tongue flicking is quite creepy, especially after seeing Doom. The dragon part was wank.
