Title: Transporter 2
Description: Has anyone seen it?

From the trailers shown in cinemas and on TV I don't know if it's a good movie to watch. I'm a little tired of cinemas now, after the poor expectations of 'Doom'. The trailer shows some pretty amazing stunt and fight scenes. I guess I should take the advice of tothers before wasting my money on yet another lousy action movie.

I enjoyed it.

Some of the stunts are pretty much impossible, but the fights are cool, kinda reminiscent of Jackie Chan movies.

If it was a game I'd say it has good gameplay, average plot, but the bossfights suck.

From the stunts and gunplay advertised, I thought it was going to be another Jackie Chan movie without Chan (very vague or lame plot but good action). Since I watched 'The Transporter' recently, I thought the sotry was lame and I suspect that the sequels-usually-suck rule applies.

I watched the original last night on dvd, tehn we realised it was on tv at the same time......

I watched 'Black Hawk Down', then the later half of 'The Transporter', it sucked immensely as a story but the action was something of the Jet Li calibre. That damn actress used to be a porn actress from Taiwan; Mr. Chiang gives that film a slightly negative review as the result.

Actually the opposite seems to apply here, many reviewers have thought the Transporter 2 is better than the original. More character exposition apparently (I don't know, I haven't seen the original)

But then this is not the sort of movie you go to for deep plots and characters. You go to see people getting beat up and killed.

I've been thirsting for a bloody good action film (lots of good fight scenes and gunplay) since my disappointment by 'Doom'. It's just that you don't judge a book by its cover, let alone a film by its trailer.

A more thought provoking film I want to see would be 'Der Untergang'.

I can recommend Der Untergang - known in the English-speaking world as Downfall - very highly. Reviewed it in Craccum in August.

The Transporter 2 looks every bit as tired as the first film. If you want to see gunplay plus expensive European cars getting thrashed to pieces, go for "Ronin".

Its worth seeing...i found quite a lot of it hilariously impossible...and the fight scenes are very good...
