Some Japanese guys were watching it on a laptop at uni and I felt the need to pull up a chair and join them. It was some good shit although the English subtitles made it seem so stupid [surely they weren't the appropriate translation]. Nice fight scenes and pisses all over the original "Final Fantasy" crock of shit film that I didn't bother to see.

The subtitles on the copy I have don't quite do the film justice lol. A literal translation of the Japanese just doesn't make sense in english, but thats always been the problem with translating - part of it is getting the whole context of the words, not just their literal meaning.
i was so fucking pissed off when they changed advent children into a fucking movie instead of the sequal to FFVII. movie = 2 hours of fun. game = 100+ hours. those fucking cunts.
