the us currently have a base in christchurch but they are planning to move it to stewart island. They would not just move it there but they would effectively own a chunk of stewart island. This is something that is just in negotiations at this point in time.

I am against it, as will a lot of new zealanders I should hope.

$4 billion 7 ways is $5,714,285.71 on each area (including reducing student debt), that would make a lot of people happy.

yea the new base plan is a BIG nono.

so, give it to schools, health of course. More R&D subsidies for business, promote tech businesses. wouldnt mind some fighter jets. More naval ships to catch those japanese whale "researchers".

And also go easy on the foreign aid payments i say.

I agree that the government should restrict its foreign aid payments. we need to look after our own country first.

It can't have been because April Fool's only goes until 12pm on april the first.

The show aired last night at 7pm which was April Fool's day.

I thought it might be an april fools prank but I wanted to know if it was or not so I watched intently.
