Description: Pipe-dream or not?

Does anyone still believe in free education?

Do you think that all students deserve a living allowance?

Let's start a poll - how much debt is reasonable for a degree?

I think education should be free, but university should be paid for. The idea behind paying for it (like we do now with partial subsidy) is that you value your degree more if you pay towards it. Same idea as if you save up for something to buy it you enjoy it much more

I think the Government should heavily subsidise study for becoming a doctor or other university-educated careers that NZ needs more people doing, with the previso that you don't need to pay back anything if you stay in NZ for 8 years or such like.
