My only suggestion is to delete itunes, burn your imac, install linux, grow a beard and start wearing socks and sandals. Sorry
Hannoir - October 13, 2005 07:09 PM (GMT)
Ah ha.
It's all fixed.
I wish I could burn my imac, but I am using a PC.

why is it that people assume your an imac user just because you say you have itunes installed...bloody stereotypes...

I also need online music assistance. What's the best way to get hold of free music? Kazaa has too many goddamn ads.

Bit Torrent. The torrents tend to be of large collections rather than individual songs (Bit Torrent only works well for large amounts of data), but you can tell it to only get one or a few things from the torrent if you want.
Plus Bit Torrent tends to have high quality rips in my experience.

How do I access this cascading torrent of joy?

Sorry I meant to say ipod, I'm a tad dyslexic sometimes. I actually assumed you were using a pc, hence the install linux...

Its called soulseek SamF!!!!!! Its full of awesome music, only down side is slow d/l speeds, but the selection and the fact 99% of the files are genuine makes up for it.
Its only music really, no good for movies.

I gotta say for individual songs, especially rarer songs, limewire kicks the shit out of bittorrent.
Go to epirate.com, i think that's the address anyway, and get a cracked version of limewire pro.
I generally never bother getting music of bittorrent unless I want a whole album. Games, apps, movies on the other hand...

^^ this man speaks the truth
however I used to find Soulseek was better for rarer songs and full albums, but it has since had a disagreement with my comp so Im completely limewire now.
bit torrent for Lost eps

When I am flatting next semester/back in england and hence not under the "watchful eyes" of the U of A network I will be using either limewire or soulseek and bitorrent.
