Description: Somewhere in the quad, info commons
él_bronto - October 6, 2005 08:20 AM (GMT)
My girlfriend left her purse in either the quad or the kate edger info commons yesterday. She's tried lost property with no luck. I know there are cameras in the quad and I believe thre are also some in the info commons, do you reckon she'd be able to look at the tapes and see? Any other ideas?

I suppose the place and appointment for viewing CCTV footage would be done by contacting Unisafe.
(Before I clicked to view this thread, I thought Mr. Bronto was the one who lost his purse and I thought "Why would a man be carrying a purse?")

Hey, nothing wrong with a manbag! Homophobe :P

I never criticized the manbag, since it's quite popular in China. I was thinking that el Bronto had lost an actual lady's purse, now that would be bizarre.

I like the term "vacuous hand bag" - good friend of mine coined it at a party last night to describe somebody we know. We thought it terribly appropriate.

I stopped carrying a purse because I kept losing it...

Any sort of bag, be it handbag or the man bag will be a pain in the ass if lost, since you carry most of your personal belongs. I rely on the good ol' back pack since it stays on my back like the shell to a turtle.

Lol just as easy to steal, Chiang. Pockets are where it's at. That or down your jocks.

Unless you have one of those backpacks that sits with the zip on the inside so you can only open it when it's not on your back. Can't remember which site I saw them on.

In the mid-90s, a Chinese man (retired factory worker), patented his anti-theft cash belt, where zippers are hidden on an ordinary looking trousers belt, so that you can fold up your cash, and store it for safety. A great product for a pock pocket-infested country, don't know how the sales went and whether it is still available.
