this brings me to the topic of western springs. Rallying is fine according to greg murphy when it is in controlled situations, closing western springs only makes it harder for young rally drivers.
I agree with the drivers, it only means people's lives are in danger by shutting the springs down.
I would rather the springs be open but these old farts complain either way which is very wrong.
They should get over it.
Greg Murphy started off boy racing, maybe what should happen is that a rally driver like him should invest money in a race track just south of the bombay hills as there is heaps of unused land out there and then the city dwellers wouldn't have to put up with what they hate.
I think a perfect place would be out at kumeu or hellensville even, theres huge amounts of land up there, its just the money thats the problem it would cost millions and millions
