at about 2/3 way through the 14min epic, the instrumental starts building up, the coiling riffs winding through Danny Carey's percussive magick. This building up in intensity and a sublime sort of pressure. Release comes with an ascending motif and magnificent chord change. This i believe symbolises a trancendency in understanding and realisation in terms of the song's theme. This motif is repeated for twice the hit. Then right at the end, another toolgasm occurs as all the energy throughout the entire piece is channelled through 8 successive 1 beat chord changes, ending on a minor, imperfect cadence.
