I got really sidetracked studying today and found this wikipedia entry.

Basically its an instance of a kid that took a shitload of prescription drugs in an IRC chat with a webcam on. People in the chat egged him on and when he passed out they freaked out but didnt call the authorities. The kid died of an OD.

And his final moments are logged in an IRC chat log.

Also of morbid note is another wikipedia entry where a guys suicide note can be found after he decided to off himself because he was "bored with life"
